Agnes Rafalko works for the Barnett Institute of Chemical & Biological Analysis. She is developing new analytical/mass spectrometry based platforms for the study of plasma in disease. Her focus is clinical proteomics, the search for and validation of biomarkers that predict the progress of disease and can be used to segregate patients for individualized therapy.

Agnes grew up in a small town in eastern part of Poland. Agnes graduated with a BS in Biology/Chemistry form Saint Joseph College, CT. Prior to joining the PhD program she worked at Pfizer and Pharmalytica Services.
