Star-Shape Gold Nanoparticle Synthesis

Abstract

Gold “nanostars” will be prepared for luminescence. A nanoparticle with one, two, three, four or five arms will be considered a star. Transmission Electron Microscopy images will be taken of the nanoparticles to determine the percentage of stars versus spheres produced.
